Born in Pakistan, American artist Anila Quayyum Agha transforms an exhibition space into magical realms of the imagination. The artwork featured in her exhibition aptly titled, "Let a Million Flowers Bloom" uses a halogen light bulbs strategically placed inside cut, sculpted, and lacquered steel, shadows "paint" the walls, creating a macro environment. We become micro as we enter the space and experience the wonder and beauty Miss Alice herself experienced when entering Lewis Carrolls Wonderland. Our submitted verdict? It's aces! The exhibit opened on February 19, 2022 and will run through May 29, 2022. Middle top and second row photos by Darcy Phelps. All other photos by Dawn Hunter.
